It's looking like the school are shitting themselves so will send home anyone who sneezes.

Sneezing is not a symptom of covid19, though.

Apologies to any teachers on here, but the profession appears to have lowered its standards, unfortunately.

Hope they get test and results back as quick as a mate did. His daughter had a cough on friday, got result back Saturday morning, negative. emoji106.png

My niece was sent home from school. Nearest place she could get a test was Stranraer.

I see the government are lining up for another U-turn on the Corona virus. Only this morning government ministers were on't media saying there would be no review on the wearing of face masks in English schools while this afternoon "Strong&Stable" Boris said they'd listen to scientific medical advice throwing his junior ministers under the bus.

I see the testing in Scotland is a shambles.
People being asked to go to Carlisle, Belfast and Inverness.......................when they live nowhere near any of these locations.
No wonder people can't be arsed........................
Some folk got a local appointment without trouble... Glasgow to Perth! [emoji850]

Testing of the general public is being run by the Westminster government.

Where did I say it wasn't?

See post above.

The chip on your shoulder must be causing you some pain as you're always angry.

PS You really need to look up irony talking about people with an agenda.

I did not say you did; I was merely putting it into context.

It's looking like working from home is to continue for many people for the foreseeable future.

Apologies to @beyond our ken who predicted buildings would be empty as companies settled for employees working at home, which I didn't think would happen, long term.

Suppose now the mould has been broken it makes permanent changes more acceptable to companies.

Personally I still prefer the working environment.

That's OK

you were a different person, back then.

It's been totally overloaded by over protective parents and schools demanding every kid that sneezes is tested despite the vast majority having none if the symptoms of C19. Hopefully settle down in a couple of weeks.

Fascists Boris and Nicola will step up the Mask wearing over the next few weeks.

All children will be forced to wear masks in the classroom.

All people will be forced to wear masks outside in public.

Will end with all folk having to wear masks inside their own houses.

Just say no.

Or just wear a mask and don't cry about it? 🤷‍♂️

Well, last night and we're taking advantage of the "eat out" deal.

Never been to this restaurant before so hope it's good.

A great incentive and get's people back out while helping business's, what's not to like?

I can't get past the idea of being served by someone in gloves and a mask.

As soon as I see that my appetite crashes.

It was the same before Covid the worried well bookings GP appointments, going to A&E with minor complaints. I think there is a generation of people out there that are raised on the expectation of instant services, I blame the internet.
