It would be more admirable if they organised boycotts of matches against the Old Firm

Certainly would.

Home and Away

Demand Season Tickets for all Home Stands that dont include matches against Sevco and Celtic scum.

Is there some sort of Boycott?

Edit: just seen that the Northbank, on the day of a game which wouldn't attract a big away support anyway are boycotting it.

First of all, it wont be a boycott as plenty saints fans will be there. In fact it will draw attention to the small amount "boycotting" which might number 20 or so who were actually going?

Funny they feel strongly enough to 'Boycott' a Wednesday night game, on a plastic pitch in sub zero temperatures because Livi are charging £25..!

But they wont 'Boycott' clubs that profiteering out of their own support by Upping ticket prices for games against The Old Bigots to £27...?

Clubs like, eh.... oh yes St Mirren

Think they number more than 20 to be honest, as for the 27 quid is that game not on a season ticket?

I boycott all games against The Old Bigots and it has nothing to do with ticket prices. It's their supporters that are off putting.

Of the ones who were actually going to go at all tonight? I'd guess 20 - 30 tops.
I am sure Livi's game is on their Season Tickets tonight so what's your point?

St Mirren, just like Livi, Hearts the old bigots etc take the piss on pricing.

If you want to make a point, and get a headline then go for the Big Story, and get your own house in order first!

That's the point re the season ticket comment, what would boycotting a game you have paid for with a season ticket do?

It would highlight that you are serious, and want your own club to stop ripping people off.
Plus not every home fan can afford a season ticket.
They say charity begins at home. The old bigot fans are going to rip the pish out of the NB for how hypocritical this looks.

I would simply charge away fans what they charge our fans, starting with hearts who charge us £7 more than we charge their fans
Suggested this to the NB a wee bit back as a more positive approach.
BFB
Buddy Fair Pricing just as you suggest charge your own fans £20, then match what other clubs charge your away support. Great way to get all clubs on one fairer price. And make sure its printed on the tickets what away fans at our ground COULD have been charged if their club reciprocated.

Sounds like a good idea but apparently that's not allowed - or so I was told when I suggested something similar a few years back.

I'm pretty sure that whatever price you are selling your "home" tickets for you have to match for "away" fans as long as the area the tickets are for are similar from a facilities perspective.

A couple of points

- Not sure where you're getting 20 or so - the last few times we've been at Livi the group has filled that bit near the corner, the group usually take a decent number to every ground we visit

- If you look back at statements the group has put out - they said there will various types of protests until the powers that be take notice, might just be a small action but it's something to catch attention, similar actions to what fans done in Germany during their campaign, no one can deny that in the end they achieved very positive results

A first boycott that hampers a club they don't support or a boycott that hampers a club they do support... It's clear you won't be capable of understanding the point here.

Would that have been on a Saturday and more favourable weather.

I'd also add that whilst the timing of this isn't great with regard to our league position and our real chance to break away from the relegation zone, nobody should be criticising anyone for standing up for themselves on issues like this.

Remember in the Hendrie championship season they were charging us £2 more than the home fans to sit in the same stand!

I remember it well.

I got charged £11.

They were charged £9

I have boycotted those thieving cnuts since that Season.

So you've got St mirren fans whose club hike prices for old bigot games by over 20% for all fans telling Livi they charge too much?

P.s. that 20% hike IS built into season ticket prices. They would be lower pro rata if every ST game was priced the same!

And no doubt supporters bosses will take a bit of a hit if less travel. A couple were on the verge if folding had we not got promoted recently. If less travel, and/or it becomes less certain when boycotts are called then they'll be reviewing their viabilty again.
