St.Ricky
Hearts ask ALL full time employees to take a 50% Wage Cut. One of a number of clubs with serious financial problems.
Eric Arthur Blair
Seems to me that Budge has heard that the season won't be completed and that the Scumbos are going down. There would be no other reason for allowing termination of player contracts at this stage.

No... more like she’d budgeted to spend X, on the basis that through the rest of the season Y would be coming through the turnstiles - but it now won’t be. instead of firing a lot of people she’s seeking to keep them all on, in the (Probably forlorn) hopes things will pick up soon. better Moral action than the airlines, bars, hotels and cafes... eta she’s been running a tight ship, there, whilst finishing off the rebuilding of a stand. Budge by name, budget by nature.... Edited March 19, 2020 by antrin

As you know there were rumours before this happened. They have received, I Believe, donations from a mystery benefactor of a reported £1m in this and recent seasons. Also asking part time staff to be unpaid. Better than the airlines but not good.
