Effect of Coronavirus

Recommended Posts

Just back from Asda where I bought one of the gazillion Easter Eggs they have on sale for my boy, a big Lindt one just like I bought for him before the lockdown - I'm sure I paid twice as much the first time.
I was in Tesco last week and the guy in front was buying two of the wee Lindt bunnies. The woman on the checkout told him the big bunnies were the same price (£2) and got them changed for him. As an aside, he gave one of them to the checkout woman to say thanks, nice gesture.

Back on topic, was in yesterday and they were selling a huge egg c/w one large and one small bunny. For £2.

Great news, the Garage I use, in Barrhead has reopened. Will get my vehicle fixed tomorrow and get back working again. I didn't enjoy being off.

Also, back open is Helen's Delicatessen on the Paisley Road Cardonald .Will be in there for a Roll and Bacon.in a few hours.

Them along with McHargs the Bakers will be my favoured daytime eateries now. Greggs are finished. No way they can match a McHargs the Bakers Scotch Pie.

Glad when the hoax is over. They have certainly made their point.

Thankfully

Well, this furlough has been handy.

The last 4 days have been utilised painting the kitchen and living room.

Still using the same set of quality wooden ladders I purchased in Paisley around 1980.

A hardware shop just before Espedair Street, can't remember what I paid for them but they have seen a few tins of paint.

We're currently in our 8th house, 3 in Paisley and 5 up here in Arbroath, that's a lot of paint and wallpaper & paste.

Ben Fogle told to get ta feck after suggesting a song along for queenies birthday. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/news/ben-fogle-queen-sing-happy-birthday-twitter-daughter-iona-a9468696.html

What's even worse is claiming it was the kid's idea in an attempt to score points. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

How do you know it wasn't his daughters idea?

Jeezo, WGAF.

Because he put it forward in the first place without a mention of his daughter. I don't know about you but, if my daughter had made a suggestion, I would make sure I gave her the "credit".

So you don't know but you choose to believe it anyway?

Away and have a look at yourself.

TheUS stopped funding WHO at end of February.

Leaders of the G7 — which consists of the United States, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan and Canada, plus the European Union — met via videoconference on Thursday to coordinate national responses to the disease. Yet Trump’s sudden announcement Tuesday night that he would halt funding to the WHO overshadowed the discussion.

What the feck are you on about? I looked at the facts and came to a logical conclusion. It's MY opinion looking at the facts to hand. I believe you've used this sort of reasoning for things you surmise. I think it's you who should be looking at yourself.

Admit it. You just like to argue.

It's not a "logical" conclusion at all.

I don't know why you choose to come to it, I could surmise but I won't.

IMO There's NO reason NOT to believe him.

I'm not arguing, just questioning your decision making.

If you don't like it I don't really give a fcuk.

I find it hard to find to believe you're so stupid as to not see your constant argumentative tones. He quite clearly, initially took it upon himself to make the request. HIM. Not his daughter. He brought her into the fray only when the ridicule started. If you can't see the logic in my conclusion then I don't see the point in debating with you.

You continually make a cnut of yourself the roll out the "stupid" word.

I didn't say you were stupid because you don't agree with me. Try reading posts and UNDERSTANDING them before coming back with stupid statements.

So, I'm still stupid?

Desperately trying to justify every post and failing.

You turned this into an "argument" I merely pointed out you had come to a conclusion that had no proof.

You're having a nightmare.:byebye
