As I've already said I'm not going to defend every statement by every person who claims to be affiliated to the BLM movement.

The truth of the matter though is that the BLM movement has declared itself non political and it's perfectly clear that as a movement it is not advocating Marxism, it never was and the right wing allegations to the contrary are simply dogwhistle politics to hide their own racism - if you want to pursue this line of argument then you're going beyond pedantry and indulging in racism yourself.
