Live Games - Behind Closed Doors

I might even watch the Derby v Leeds game, see how Leeds look for next season.

If the celebration in Leeds was anything to go by, then sadly you won’t see the best of Leeds in this game.

They are a treat to watch , controlled, disciplined & creative. They average around 65% possession every game very occasionally as low as 55%.

if they go in front the simply rarely lose. 1 game since Bielsa came in have they lost in 2 years from a winning position.

Should they go a goal down, they don’t panic & continue to play good possession football. As with many teams, they often struggle to find the net in games they control.

Completely played Arsenal off the park earlier in the season ( no surprise to any Leeds fan prior to the game ) it was expected but Arsenal did have a better second half going on to win the game.

Leeds had 58% possession overall, 18 shots to Arsenal 16, more passes, better completion rates etc but for having someone more prolific than Bamford, would have won by a few.

El Loco is on Sky Now on demand & it’s an insight into Bielsa & Leeds ( going to watch it later , hopefully as good as the 4 part documentary on Leeds & Bielsa called Take us Home

Derby beat Leeds in play off semi final last year, Leeds will want to end the season on a high.

Derby 2-3 Leeds

Derby 2-3 Leeds

Not the best game to judge them, plenty of changes and the pressure is off......................

Play fairly well up to a point, final ball is poor, like plenty teams.

Not the worst 45 I've ever watched, but not the best.

0-0 half time.

1-2, at last,, something that looked like a bit of quality.

Great pass through and decent finish.

76 mins.

Leicester have totally blown a champions league spot. 😂 feck em.

The problems of having a small squad.

They were flying when they could play almost the same team week after week.

Maddison lost form then was injured, key player and despite Vardy being a class act it's looking like it's caught up with them.

The last game against United will still be a big game.
