shull
It may have only been £2.50 for admission to the West terracing. I ain't.too sure. I seen a ticket years later for the South Stand. It was marked £4. It was the only part of the Stadium where tickets were issued.

Yer Dad was right. What a forward line that was in 1959! (dismantled within 2 years, of course...) And the match was a whole lot more fun. In 1959, we knew that Saints would score goals. In 87, it was a boringly tense affair till Ferguson ran towards us... Delight, ensued!

bonzoboys
Watching the cup goal, for some reason it reminded me of the recent obika goal against Hearts. No alcohol involved!!! Of of course no comparison with Ferguson. But just thinking about how important goals can be. All this hassle about relegation was hanging on a few of Obika,s “lucky” strikes. Would there have been the same uproar if it was us instead of Hearts in the relegation spot. Heard the Hamilton GM ask the same question last week on Sportsound. Sporting integrity my arse!!!
