Sonny 8,791 Report post Posted July 3, 2020 As it says. Get your ugly mug on a cardboard cutout until the real thing is available. https://www.stmirren.com/all-news/3708-get-back-in-the-ground-with-st-mirren-fans-at-the-game Personally I think it won't be that long until we can attend games but in the meantime you can have a presence in the stadium.

Sturgeon is apparently talking about MONTHS before fans get to attend. This feels like we are being primed to expect no fans until next year.

She said that there was no set date, as they hadn't made a decision yet. Jason Leitch did suggest otherwise, but was contradicted by her. https://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/international/what-nicola-sturgeon-had-say-return-scottish-football-fans-stadiums-2902144

No so sure about up here. wee Nicola seems to be trying to drive people into depression.

With our ground holding just under 8k and with between 2 and 3k ST's, surely distancing could be manageable.

They'll be hedging their bets, like they've done with education. I think it's more to do with the sheer number of fans involved moving about in and around the stadium, as opposed to being able to space people out in seats. Aberdeen were talking about 7500 fans presumably concentrated in and around their ground. At the moment that would seem an unnecessary risk. Three or four weeks down the line with ever decreasing figures...………………………… let's see what happens. Edited July 3, 2020 by FTOF

mattman 1,290 Report post Posted July 3, 2020 To be fair it’s another revenue stream for the club, don’t really like it if honest but soon as I seen other clubs doing it, I knew we’d be in about it too. Cant see me putting a pic of myself there but I do have a fair few funny pics of pals that I could send in 😆😂
