Hendo 3,011 Report post Posted July 14, 2020 My father in law, who is a bluenose, said I could go round to his house to watch the game, but on separate TV's. I suggested he watched it upstairs, with me downstairs, and he could fling pies at me, just to make it a more authentic Ibrox experience.

No. The Rangers has not bought into the package formed for the purpose of showing all these games. It had its own already-established tv service. You would need to subsidise the Blue Pound.... ...the Blue Pound that they keep threatening to take away from Scottish football with a litany of threatened Blue Pound Boycotts. Unfortunately, the boycotts never happen because they famously never do walking away. Unless they are asked to save their club/s as and when they go into liquidation.
pondsman 432 Report post Posted August 3, 2020 Thanks, Antrin. Just wondered as the game is showing as 'Live' on the St. Mirren TV website. Certainly won't be donating any money to either of the Old Firm.

Wilbur 2,832 Report post Posted August 3, 2020 I think the last time we had to play Rangers on a Sunday then Celtic on the following Wednesday was that disastrous (9-man !!!) LC Final defeat and the superb 4-0 thrashing of Celtic that got Tony Mowbray sacked. One Andy Dorman. 😁

DougJamie 6,819 Report post Posted August 3, 2020 Well hardly season defining but be nice to win, get Gerrad ( that should be Sevrad) sacked, the depression would be marvellous...……. SAINTS OFFICIALLY ARE A TOP SIX SIDE THIS WEEK

Certainly won't be donating any money to either of the Old Firm.I was wondering the same thing. The live window for the rangers game has a countdown to kick off which suggests there may be an agreement in place and we might have access through St Mirren TV.Certainly would prefer that to PPV from their site.I'll wait with fingers crossed

There was supposed to be cross-club access to whatever services clubs provided. ie away fans should share access. doubtless there WILL be a trouble-free way of accessing their service.

While I'll be happy with that from a selfish point of view, I'm surprised that the club would take that deal - they would surely make much more from rangers ppv purchases for our home games than they will make from our ppv purchases.Anyway - if it is included then I'll be tuning in for the great upset

Russian Saint 1,305 Report post Posted August 4, 2020 Those websites have rarely shown any Scottish football over the last year or so.Skorlive has the Celtic v Accies game on. If it’s the OF they’ll probably show it.Correct though, around September last year they pulled most of the SPL games.

Have to agree with OS, Skorlive in particular hasn't shown any Premiership games this year, Hesgoals only showed those covered by BT or Sky.
