Any players doing anything they shouldn't be, should get binned by their respective clubs.

F'n halfwits.

It’s the crazy feckin restrictions that should be binned.

People are just trying to lead normal lives.

There was no need for a lockdown in the first place and there is certainly no need for any restrictions now.

All the lockdown and restrictions have done is kill tens of thousands of people, destroyed the economy, ruined kids’ education and saved absolutely no-one.

Shame the offending teams don’t forfeit the game , award opponent the 3 points

It’ll probably be oops sorry we will rearrange it & no further action

It’s up to us to demand forfeit

st Johnstone did every one else a disservice by not doing so

its up to Celtic to control the players as the government made clear that the league could only resume if the teams understood the huge dispensation that they were benefiting from

Absolute Bol#o#ks!!!

It is all very well them punishing Aberdeen and Celtic by calling off their matches, but don't they realise that essentially St Mirren and Hamilton are being given the same punishment.

It should be a 3-0 win for Saints and Accies.

St J should be given the same for last weekend.

Correct. Its classic fascist control to create fear, and then hatred for the scapegoats. When's the next election, or has that been cancelled too.

A stupid game of football is more important than people's lifes. Normal people have been through hell trying live with lockdown. And selfish f**king footballers think the rules don't apply to them. Well done to the First Minister for coming down hard on these clowns. I don't she has come down hard enough.

Agreed. We should have been awarded the points.

In this instance I don't agree the game should have been postponed.

The player, as stupid as he was, has since tested negative.

As far as I know there is no infection so why put the game off, other than try to prove some sort of point?

No infection so far!

Absolutely. There should some sort of punishment to let these players know they can't bend or Break the rules cos they think they can cos their pro footballers. And there club should be punished for not setting out the rules to them with vigor

It’s not the Clubs fault.Aberdeen and sellic, and every other Club, will have drilled the rules into players heads until players are sick of hearing it.Its hardly the Clubs fault that players are as thick as f**k.

The argument would be that any symptoms could take 2 weeks or so to appear and he only went to Spain last week.

I think the insinuation is that Scottish Football will be getting the red card, not the next team.

There have been many valid and some silly comments regarding Covid, football, disciplinary action, Public health and conspiracies but it looks like wee Nicky is backing herself into a corner and the next breach could well be the end of the season for everyone.

I can accept Aberdeen may have an excuse but I find it hard to believe Celtic could misplace a player for 4 days before a match and then play him. It seems a bit odd that he would miss training etc and still play unless he took time off and told lies. Surely Celtic can't be that naive. Maybe the club is faultless but it seems a bit odd.

I take it Bolingoli will get a police visit and pay at least his £480 spot fine.  I say take him to court and bump him for the full five grand.  As HSS suggests he is as thick as  $#^? in the neck of a bottle. He deserves it.

Anything worth watching on St Mirren TV on Wednesday night?

Shouldn't be the clubs getting punished but the players.

Starting from now, a long term ban for any players taking the piss.

On the bright side, maybe fans will be back in the ground by the time this game get played and the club would make money out of it

Team culture dictates that the team take the hit

they are happy enough to take all the benefits of the player

Whispers from various sources (don't know how reliable yet) that potentially more Celtic players to be investigated for similar breaches. Would be great if they made an example out of them and cancelled their next couple of games awarding 3-0 victories to the clubs :whistle
It's hardly "whispers " when the CMO alluded to it openly at the daily briefing. His take was that he expected further SM exposes however if these prove to show breaches prior to the two public incidents they should be ignored however any future highlighted breaches will not be.

Team would take a hit since the offending player would have a long ban. If you were stupid and did something like that, would you expect your employers to get punish as well ?

So it’s ok for our players and club to suffer having to cram in a fixture to an already crowded card?

Anyway Celtic are vicariously liable for any acts he commits that affect footballing matters

my employer sends people out to houses all the time

if we were found to have endangered non employees in this way then we would be investigated

No, people’s lives are more important than ludicrous and completely unnecessary restrictions.

There was no need for a lockdown at all,

Nicola Sturgeon and Boris Johnson are lunatics.

If someone had said a year ago that football games would be played behind closed doors and games called off because some players drank in a pub, they’d be declared a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist.

Yet here we are.

Putting the young, fit and healthy under quarantine, throwing thousands of sick and elderly patients out of hospital, seeding Covid into care homes, closing half the NHS and scaring people away from seeking medical treatment, all in the name of “protecting the NHS” when it didn’t need protecting and should have been protecting the public, is the greatest lunacy in British history.

Sturgeon and Johnson’s policies are responsible for the deaths of 10s of 000s, the destruction of millions of livelihoods, the ruination of children’s education and condemned millions in the third world to starvation.

People need to wake up.

Not sure why people are not seeing the positive here.

After a doing from  Rangers we avoid another exhausting doing from Celtic before our much more important match at Hamilton on Saturday. The rest will do us good.

We can play Celtic midweek at another time when we haven just also played Rangers.

This is good news.

Thank f**k it’s not you running the country

You prefer a fascist police state that has killed thousands in the U.K. and continues to do so?

According to the ONS figures out today, hospital deaths are yet again way under the average, as they have been for weeks, while excess deaths at home continue to run into the hundreds.

This is real, people are dying.
