I am well aware of that.
Like us they follow WHO guidelines.
Just pointing it out in case they have different timescales or procedures.

Flu will kill at least 20,000 people in the U.K. this winter. In a bad year it could be up to 50,000.

Far more people will die of flu this winter than Covid, and that’s with a flu vaccine.

Why don’t we test for flu as well while we’re at it and isolate all asymptotic flu carriers?

Jamie Langfield mentioned on twitter earlier that they have the all clear to go back to work on Monday. Good news all round.

It wouldn’t surprise me too much if Clangers had caught it.

Then immediately let it slip through his fingers...

Unless you are in your 80s, living in a care home, beyond the age of life expectancy and have dementia and heart disease, this isn’t really an issue.

If I was in that category it wouldn’t be an issue to me either ffs!

So why the f**k is thus affecting football and everyday life?

We’ve put life on hold for a bad cold

enough is enough. We’re all going to die, many of us with a respiratory illness. That’s life, that’s the way it’s always been and always will be.

lets cut the crap and stop all restrictions

now

if we stop testing for it then the problem goes away

Tell that to the relatively young pilot who's just been on BBC this morning. And he's not alone.

I see the resident moon howler is now spamming the threads outwith General Nonsense. Do yourselves a favour and put the Troll on ignore.

Says the low life who used his wife’s police ID to skip a supermarket queue and shop at a time reserved for NHS staff at the height of the crisis.

I suggest you stock up on tins, tape up the windows and doors and hunker down for a few weeks. Meanwhile in the real world the rest of us will continue about our normal business taking the self same life precautions we always do. The media / social media lead hysteria is off the scale. Imagine if a real plague emerged in the developed world, it would be armageddon stuff. Let's just concentrate on making it to Hampden.
