St Johnstone v St Mirren Sat 29th Aug

Recommended Posts

The Menace will strike.
Two nil to the Paisley Saints with Dennis scoring both.
Possibly a crowd of 500 in attendance
Surely they won't be allowed their full home support at a trial game ?

Acid test for me a game at a venue we traditionally really struggle at. Any sort of return will continue our very good start.

Just watching St Johnstone v Hibs, still 0-0 but we better watch out, they are not as bad as I thought.

Play down the wings almost every time they attack and deliver a decent cross.

They've had a goal wrongly chalked off and are equal to Hibs all over the park.

Still 10 mins to go, Hibs will probably score 3.

Not quite 3, but losing to a late penalty and having their captain sent off must be a boot in the baws for them.

Have you watched our games??? Exactly the same boring as f**k along with the rest of spl games this is looking like the worst season in memory for excitement that will only change after split when all 12 teams will still have something to play for.

I tell you something I wouldn’t be paying ppv for that next week, that’s two games this week I’ve watched with that mob that’s been a total shitfest, thank feck for iptv

Aye but I support us, so it’s watchable for me 😂 not the prettiest though.

I genuinely believe Tony will get his dream and we will finish top 6 this season, but FFS it's a hard watch in terms of good play or excitement and really can't see that changing.

I'm the only St Mirren fan in my work and have told everyone from start of season we will finish top 6 but we won't score more than 2 goals in any match this season everything in this first month has convinced me more & more that I'm right.

I haven't found any of our games boring to watch.

Sure, the quality has been poor, but we've created a lot of goal scoring chances, and we've had some great defensive performances.

Hibs and The Fakes, could barely muster a shot on target today. Now that is boring football.

Aberdeen and the fakes the other night was probably worse, which might be hard to believe 😂

I genuinely think it's down to a lack of support driving teams on. No urgency in games. It will improve massively when supporters return.

We are not a top 6 team. Very much doubt we will be there at all but hopefully better than last 2 seasons.

I said the same last season after a few games that we wouldn't score any more than 2 league goals,  I nearly nailed it one game,  wish I was as good when the cash was down more like one right,

From what i've seen so far I think you'd get a good run for your money this year too,  Ronnie stick £10 on for me al square you up off the winnings ...  A bet I wouldn't mind losing

So now big Joe suspended for Saturday and we all debating Foley going into centre back and midfield going to miss him so could we not go 3 5 2 on Saturday with Fraser McCarthy tait in defence and hopefully Dennis and obika upfront and we could mcalister or durmas on one wing and connelly on other and Foley sheron and McGrath in middle?
