TPAFKA Jersey 2 3,907 Report post Posted October 2, 2020 Isn’t the point here that our goalies hadn’t mixed with the rest of the squad so no other players had to isolate. If the Killie players in question have had exposure to the whole squad, that’s a completely different thing.

Yes.However, 1 Celtic player sneaks abroad - cancelled ( as precaution no test involved )Aberdeen players head to pub - cancelled Kilmarnock have a squad vast majority tested clear - cancelled
buddygreat 108 Report post Posted October 2, 2020 That will be the argument im sure, but the league and clubs have said there is no room for this and games will have to be played. The Czech Republic game where they fielded a whole team of reserves, under 23s etc against Scotland was used as an example by league representatives and pundits alike...its a nonsense.. Isn’t the point here that our goalies hadn’t mixed with the rest of the squad so no other players had to isolate. People will whine, doesn't really affect us but we're desperate. 😂

HSS 11,879 Report post Posted October 13, 2020 Sellic without 4 players, probably 5,for the upcoming Glasgow derby. The 5 all tested positive after the recent international matches. oaksoft 13,082 Report post Posted October 15, 2020 Well it isn't going to be the goalkeepers. I only hope this is spread across the other 3 areas of the field but I suspect that all 3 players play in the same areas. If it's 3 defenders, Motherwell are going to have a field day this weekend.
santaponsasaint 5,188 Report post Posted October 15, 2020 Could this season get any worse. No squad to talk of and now sell your captain and now 2 players testing positive and 1xself isolating. We have no squad to cover players. And its embarrassing we can't fill our subs bench.

Don’t worry Gary. We can fill the bench up with former Saints players currently on the payroll. Goody, Sharp, Langfield, Mendes and Fitzy.

What I find embarrassing is our club captain, even in that capacity, not finding a place on the bench but days later manages 30 minutes for his new club. I take all Goodwins rant with a pinch of salt.

And you blame Goodwin for that?
