St Mirren v Aberdeen

With recent events, self inflicted, this game becomes even bigger as we've lost the advantage of "games in hand", if they ever really were an advantage.

I hope this Covid mess doesn't get to the manager and players, we need a similar performance to get anything from this game.

3 points would help lift the gloom and doom, and we have a chance after last weeks game.

Looking forward to this game, unusual TBH.

It's there to be won IMO, and we must, at least, have a go.

Please don't revert back to trying not to lose, go out to win. :thumbs2

But that's the Goodwin way!

Right well, it's been a bad week off the park, only one thing we can do about it - the fightback starts this afternoon.

COYS!

We forget with all the off field shenanigans that we are on a very decent run of form, just hope the players are not affected like most fans seem to have been. Aberdeen will be stronger today but we need the same approach as last week, make them as uncomfortable as possible from the start. A positive result would help the mood but we really shouldn't be feeling that way as on the park things have been looking up.

While the last game was encouraging it shouldn't be forgotten we won due to a goalkeeping blunder.

A deflected goal against Livvie was enough, before that, hardly "decent" against Queens and Morton.
