I think this would suggest you are right FS.
Don’t know if I’m included in your “folk” Ayrshire, but if you’re trying to say Celtic weren’t shite tonight, then I’d say you’ve most definitely been on the sauce.
Not what I said in the slightest. Shite or not they have still beat half the teams in the division by 3 or more goals was my observation.

We have lost a game and suddenly Pampers sales have soared yet we are 6th with 2 winnable games in hand on the 2 teams below us with only 7 or 8 games to go to the split. Virtually everyone on here would have bitten your hand off for this position at the start of the season and both arms and both legs at the end of October.

We will get nothing from Well game they have turned the corner now they will finish above us.
You have clearly not looked at the table for a while. I suspect if we win 2 more games that will be enough to finish at least 6th never mind 10th or whatever you were spouting last night. That would basically leave the Fakes or Utd having to win 3 of their remaining 5 games and Well 4 of their 6. Most teams only have 5 games to go ffs.

The top six remains within reach but we need to avoid losing momentum now. Injuries are worrying and we will need the squad now to step up and deliver. Let’s not forget that a top six position has been regaularly achieved by St Johnstone , Kilmarnock and Motherwell. Add in Ross county , Livingston and Particl Thistle as those who have achieved it and you see that a club of our stature should be aiming for this position every season. This team is good enough and whilst last night was poor it is important the manager finds a winning formula again soon.

Motherwell were very fortunate to win against a poor Killie team last night. They won't finish above us.

In the brief highlights both teams looked quite decent, in a kick and rush type of way.

Killie will feel aggrieved they lost after putting so much into the game.

I'm not making any predictions who will finish where, coming up to a really critical time.

I said to my son early in the first half we were so far back in our own half that they they were guaranteed to get a penalty at some point and so it came to pass. It was one of the worst performance I have seen in a long time we stood so far of them they could do whatever they liked it was shockingly bad.

Geez your poor son ..... do you notice he wears earplugs alot

As others say prior - the growing injury list is more concerning than the result. Let’s hope Jamie just took a dead arm and is fit ASAP. Game changed in him coming off.

if Quaner is fit also for Saturday it’s a lift. Need to re shape and go again.

I mentioned last night the incident looked quite innocuous, got to hope it can be sorted ASAP.

if we start against Aberdeen as we did last night we could easily take something from Aberdeen, as you say, when he went off we lost the impetuous we had.

This result will in my opinion derail our whole season.

Why that makes no sense at all. No season is ever defined by a defeat to one of the uglies for clubs like us

Elvis is fishing for bites, as he does every time he posts.

In that second half, Celtic were most certainly NOT shite.

We complain when the opposition never gives us credit for playing well.

We appear to be just as bad.

Celtic stepped it up and we lacked the belief and the energy to match them.

It happens.

This concerns me more than the result.

Me too.

The change after the injury and the mental collapse after the penalty.

Those are the two things to focus on fixing ASAP.

The desire and the work rate are both there but the above two need looking at today.

I'm sure they will be.

Jamie has a dislocated shoulder and is seeing a specialist today. Liable to be out for a week or two or if there is ligament damage maybe the season :(

We matched Celtic in the first half although losing Jamie affected us particularly in ball retention and closing players down. Three times after he went off Ajer ran the whole length of the park with none of the forwards tracking back to stop him. Second half we collapsed after the penalty although Celtic were bossing the game. Disappointed in the performance but more disappointed in the injury list.

However we have more than matched Aberdeen in our last two games against them so should be confident going up there to keep the bandwagon rolling.

Got to say even tho being kept updated on score last night, still watched it when I got home late, late on. Yes, McGrath going off changed things but let's not forget Lennon would have given them a major baw kicking after the defeat to us and probably dished it out again at halftime. As for a previous post about another raith rovers situ in the making, give over nowhere near.

As for hitting panic button after last night, not at all. I'm sure there will have been a baw kicking tho and I would suggest the tv manner of JG is nowhere near JG off screen.

Now convince some of our players are colour blind.

Half the team couldn't tell the different between a light green and a black and white top.

Last night shows how much we need a left footed defender.

That performance was worst then the semi final cup game :thumbsdown

I am convinced with the injury list that our season is over as far as top 6  interest and we are going to have to fight hard not to drop into the bottom 3

Disagree Ayrshire. Plenty of people (myself included) were bemoaning our incredibly shite performance last night, but the only person predicting it meant a catastrophic end to our season was Elvis, and he does that all the time anyway.
