Last Hogmanay Special tonight.

Although, it's been stated they will carry on doing some Podcasts.

I have generally enjoyed the Show over the decades.

" Making St Mirren Great Again" sketch was one of my favourites.

I will watch tonight or on iPlayer tomorrow, if I am in bed early.

The original radio broadcasts were good with the gruff take-off of the gruff William McIllvanney but the TV episodes quickly settled into a OF dominated groove, I doubt if I've watched it this millennium - well past it's sell by date.

Off the Ball with Cosgrove & Cowan must surely be next...

Died a slow tragic death, tired format, lazy attempts at humour, nothing to appeal to a younger audience, add all that up and it get's what it deserves, hooked. :thumbsdown

PS just seen an advert for tonight's last episode, Frank McAvennie, how many fecking times? :snore

Even McAvennie said it was time they stopped using him for humour because it was all done to death.

It reflects the lazy/tired writing.

How many people under 40 have even heard of McAvennie?

Joking apart. It's seeing shows on TV like that which made me realise that trying to write a film was worth having a go at. I'm sitting at home right now looking at what I've written already and whilst it needs work and I might be deluding myself, I'm convinced that it's much better than that nonsense. Unless I'm missing something...

Why don’t you share some of your script? I’m sure you would get some constructive feedback. 😂

Why don't you give him a break ye trolling cnut ?

You've been tailing and abusing him for days.

So much hatred and jealousy from you.

Why don't you and others congratulate Oaky for selling his Business and retiring.

Also, taking his life in a new and hopefully happy direction.

You and Judas are bullying cnuts.

So feck off

Rattled. I’ve seen your initial work on P&B before you took it down. Pitiful. Bit like your humour.

Don't be so f**king stupid. There's not a chance I would ever put a word of my real script on Pie and Fecking Bovril. It was a piss take that everyone except you seemingly managed to understand. The moderators deleted it, not me.

I am not actually writing a porn film script. Jesus f**king wept. What a spangle! 🤣

And you should have been banned or sin binned many times.

Quite a few have been for a lot less.

But you're a fecking untouchable, like other pricks on here, and you know it.

Being a chum of the Webmaster that you are.

The only thing I am missing is the morning commute to work since I retired.
How's that working out for you guys? [emoji3]
The 10 seconds it takes to go from the kitchen to the back room with my coffee? It's a very eco friendly commute these days...
