St Mirren v St Johnstone. Scottish Cup Semi Final

Recommended Posts

Makes you wonder if Zander Clark is a doubt to make the game?
Pretty sure he is fit but none of their other keepers available. Time will tell but he was injured recently.

Fraser, Flynn, Obika, Brophy and Connolly all return from injury for Sunday according to Jim.

Great news and we will have a full bench!

Brophy is garbage..

At this point, no doubt it will slightly shift before Sunday, St Mirren are 15/8, St Johnstone 6/4 with the draw 11/5.

Dundee United 10/3, Hibs 4/5 and the draw 13/5.

To win the cup outright.............

Hibs 7/4

St Johnstone 11/4

Dundee United 3/1

St Mirren 4/1

St Mirren 7/4, St Johnstone 13/8 and the draw still at 11/5.

Maybe a result of the issues going on in Perth or @BuddieinEK whacking his mortgage on us?

48 years And he bottled it against Livy.As he has a few times this season.

So since 1973 you have seen success in 5 cups...league successes ... played Liverpool best team ... memorable wins and full capacity crowds .... and ok the odd downturn 😉 You cant like St Mirren mate its either love or hate

In the other semi - the team with the 6 ex Buddies (3 of which are now coaches) beat the team with the 2 ex Buddies + a Paisley born (I think) manager - goes to reason.

However, make no mistake - we are still underdogs to reach the final, despite St Johnstone's Covid woes.

Still struggling to get excited about this game ( just like the Livy game) since I already know it will be watch in the house Nothing beats the excitement of waking up on semi final day ( apart from final day) and meeting the mates early for beers and food prior to the game plus more beers afterwards regardless of the result. Worst for our younger supporters who had never witness a Scottish Cup semi at Hampden and may not for many more years.

This will change come 4.30 pm tomorrow.

We are winning this.

That game today will be serious encouragement to both saints

united all looked like they were trying to pull caravans yet they almost came back into contention in the last 30

Hibs look spent and for the second cup tie in a row faded towards the end

Whoever wins tomorrow needs to target the petulance of McGinn and Porteous, 2 players who habitually sail close to the wind

if we win tomorrow then our name is on it

Specsavers for you as Hibs were the better team throughout the 90 minutes.

You obviously can't see they have some quality, especially where it matters, up front.

Don't give up your day job, :1eye

The thing I’m looking forward to is the BBC coverage.St Mirren TV do a great job but you can’t beat the experts 🎥
