Just been speaking to a friend who provides first aid training and looks after the village defibrillator he said the percentages of surviving such an incident IIRC are

4% no CPR no defibrillator

34% with CPR no defibrillator

76% with CPR and defibrillator

The average age of a heart attack is 34 in this country.

Being able to perform CPR is a skill we should all learn at school and in the workplace. It’s not a hard skill to learn, but can make a massive difference to saving someone’s life.

If you choose to wait for the professionals to arrive it may be too late.

Today's guesses.

England 3  Croatia 1

Austria 1 North Macedonia 1

Holland 1 Ukraine 2

First time I can remember hoping England get the result today, ideal situation (other than them finishing outside qualifying places) for me is them topping the group & getting paired into the group of death.

Nah. I don’t see why we can’t hope for Croatia to win today. It could make our last game against them a dead rubber if results go our way. I can’t bring myself to support England.

Through gritted teeth certainly but the only thing close to my want for Scotland to do well, is my want for England not to win the tournament.

So far, on my grandsons prediction game, I've got Italy by 2-0 instead of 3, Wales 1-1 draw, Belgium 3-1 instead of 3-0 and England by 1-0. The only result I've got totally wrong was the Danes and I forgive myself for that. England played well and deserved the victory but, gladly, looked a little toothless upfront. Long may that continue. We need to be aware of their long ball game as they have blistering pace. After today I'm a bit more optimistic about our chances on Friday.
