Murray to play Felix Auger-Aliassime in the opening round.

Not the best, as previously discussed, he needs more court time, this could be his only match.

He shouldn't worry about making a gold medal winning speech.

He usually wins when he is British tbf :ninja

Murray has pulled out of the singles, thigh strain.

Pity, even if he'd have lost this match, it would have been another good hard match under his belt.

He's still continuing in the doubles.

Skateboarding.
Olympic "sport"?
Really? emoji50.pngemoji850.png

There's a high degree of skill and dedication in skateboarding.

As much as many other "sports" IMO.

There a wrath of "sports" that could easily be seen as "undeserving" TBH.

Let's start a list....................

Biking. (on the road) :thumbsdown

Watched a wee bit of Adam Peaty in the 100m breaststroke quarter final yesterday, the guy is a machine. :happyclapper

Just checked he skooshed his semi final as well.

Just give him the gold medal now, save some time. 🎖️

Not exactly Nostradamus but, yip, Peaty wins the gold. :happyclapper

Now, synchronised diving. not exactly my thing, but just came in as it was getting to the nitty gritty and wee Tam Daley and his team mate produced a stunning last dive to win the gold.

Pressure was on and they hit a massive score of just over a hundred.

TBF to the Chinese, runners up, they also produced a final dive of just over a hundred but the British pair win by just over a point, fine lines after 6 separate dives.

Well done lads. :happyclapper

Do not like any sport where it is a judges opinion who wins. Prefer to know who has won whilst watching it.

While I can see the possible issues with this, ( judges ) the diving system discounts the top two and bottom two from seven to try to see it as fair.

Apart from boxing.

THIS is one of the worst for dodgy scoring.

Over the years there's been outright cheating went on so I would suggest boxing needs to look at itself, but it wont as it's corrupt through and through IMO.
