You would like to hear my personal issues? Are you a qualified therapist?

Is this CBT or Mindfulness techniques in action?

Whatever. Just mind your own fcuking business!

Or… your reasons for being so anti-kibble & thinking the arrangement is in the gutter. 🤦‍♂️

can someone tell me at the SMiSA meeting is it true that the chairman of the club made a statement that none of the contractors recently agreed were known to anyone connected with the club? Renderworks had a director called Darren Baillie from Airdrie who resigned in 2019. In March 2020 during the lockdown he set up Asigura Facilities Management who won the contract to deliver stewarding at the ground despite no track record in this field. Is this not a bit weird that our club would appoint someone who appears to have no experience in security but beat off other applicants? Is there not a conflict of interest. Is it not possible that the Kibble CEO and the club General managers knew who Mr Baillie was?

You publish your actual name and I'll answer your questions.[emoji16]

Wouldn't be fair to divulge information to just anyone, incase of a conflict of interest. [emoji1787]

You should ask Miss Marple for that answer

KibbleWorks look after social enterprises called FrameWorks, MowerWorks, RoadWorks & ServiceWorks.

I’m sure that RenderWorks working for SMFC have no connection to Kibble and the name is a coincidence.

Also is Asigura was connected to the Kibble it would have possibly been called StewardWorks

Incorrect, it relates to the utter nonsense claims of dodgy dealings & inadequate due diligence.

That’s hilarious, both the stewarding contract and the catering contract were stripped from the renderworks linked company & replaced by reputable companies that’s a win for everyone who cares about the reputation of the club

People blew things right out of proportion. Pretty common with some of our fans.

Begs the question why they were awarded the contracts in the first place with no apparent experience in those areas.

Are Asiguro now sub contracting those areas? Does anyone know?

Asigura has definitely lost the contract as the fella was back at kibble Tuesday morning labouring for his pal putting a new in Jim’s new boardroom

And therein lies the worry. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

From the description above, it seems we are getting all the benefits and Kibble very few. If anyone believes this is so Kibble can send us kids to get work experience, when they already run Kibble Works, are expanding into early years and have a mass of contacts nationally, then you better make sure those buttons are done up at the back. All the "great bunch of lads" chat from the club, while not giving us any specific detail on how the relationship with Kibble works, adds to the suspicion.

My experience of the Kibble professionally is they are good at what they do, and generally care packages they provide for young people are some of the best. However, Kibble never do anything unless it benefits Kibble most.

Bearing in mind, of course, that Jim Gillespie stated aim is to change kibble from a “Paisley based education and care centre to the countries leading social enterprise’ it’ll be an interesting couple of years!
TEX was an absolute disaster there’s no getting away from it, so 400k into the buds? A drop in the ocean rather than the albatross when saying you’re a social enterprise,

But did our club chairman not say “there is no link with the Kibble.”?

What was he putting in? A dedicated Sunbed? 😂 ☀️

He did, but then freely admitted that Tony and David Jameson drew up the shortlist interviewed the candidates then awarded the contract!  Nothing to see here I tell you.

Kibble HAVE to spend their multi million income or the it may reduce ,so their is no loss in spending on an enterprise  that fails

Are we too assume TEX is Kibble speak for The Experience? How was it a disaster? What went wrong?

Honestly? Everything, badly placed, prohibitively expensive,( a couple of hours at the experience was dearer than a day ticket at Alton towers,) poorly organised very hard to book ( for example you could never book a works day out properly, you could get the karts for a morning but the restaurant wasn’t available or the laser quest would be booked out the same day,

it just seemed like an outdated idea by the time it was operational,

Just had an email from the SMISA committee, "welcoming" applications for a vacancy on the board for a SMISA rep. Now, as we are now fan owned, i thought we might have a bit of democracy, you know, anyone who fancies it puts their name forward, makes their pitch and then we all vote. Apparently not. The committee will interview applicants, settle on their preferred candidate and then put the annointed one before the fans for ratification.

All seems perfectly above board and not corrupt in the slightest 😂

So just to be clear… instead of going through a vetting, interview & ratification process by the people already in place before a democratic vote to confirm the candidate, it would be better for anyone to apply, not be checked for adequacy & instead immediately voted on by members? Seems sensible 😂

Definitely seems like a closed shop and a job for the boys sort of attitude. IMO regardless on your background if you have the right ideas for the club and the rest of the members back you then you have any right to go for it, shouldn’t be for those at the top to decide.

Why can't people be vetted, interviewed etc to be confirmed they are a suitable candidate?

You're unbelievable.

A democratic vote would mean more than one candidate being put forward, not a preferred candidate to be ratified. There should be criteria for eligibility, such as not having a dodgy criminal history, but otherwise anyone who is a member should be able to stand. Its called democracy.

Are you then happy for a non-SMiSA member to be successful ?

To be a SMiSA representative on the board, surely one must already be a SMiSA member. It cannot be right that anyone who has not contributed to be considered for the position and is stupid to allow their application for the role.
