Rascal Posted September 26, 2021 Report Posted September 26, 2021 Going to this one. Tough place to pick up points but travelling in Hope if not expectation. As seems normal for Ross County these days they appear to have a completely new starting 11 each season. Quote

Racking up 3 on the spin this early on would be massive and would put real daylight between us and the increasingly isolated bottom 3 which should always be number one priority before we start looking up the table. Rascal Posted October 4, 2021 Author Report Posted October 4, 2021 Will Dunne be fit for this match? Quote
Cumbriansaint72 Posted October 4, 2021 Report Posted October 4, 2021 Even if he is imo it would be madness to change back 3 in what is now a winning team. Quote
fmckinn Posted October 4, 2021 Report Posted October 4, 2021 If Dunne is fit a place on the bench is the best he should open for. McCarthy does not deserve to be dropped Quote
Doakes Posted October 4, 2021 Report Posted October 4, 2021 Yep 100% got to be McCarthy, has earned his right to start. Dunne will need to play his way back into the team. Not a bad thing to have competition for places Quote

Winning games takes you up the table and away from the bottom, they are not conflicting priorities. Edited October 4, 2021 by beyond our ken Quote
Clydebanksaint Posted October 4, 2021 Report Posted October 4, 2021 I honestly dont think we should change the starting 11 they have now got some momentum and those players have the jersey to lose now. Quote

Only change I'd be looking at would be to counter Ross Callachan, always causes us problems. Hopefully an in form Alan Power will sort him out. Would like to see Flynn get a chance to start at some point Quote
Rascal Posted October 4, 2021 Author Report Posted October 4, 2021 Great to have options available Quote

Is it just that the club can’t organise themselves enough to actually post tickets? It wasn’t previously a problem. Why now? Quote
faraway saint Posted October 7, 2021 Report Posted October 7, 2021 Where's all the whining about prices or is it just Livingston that get this crap EVERY time we play them? Quote

Fair comment. There does seem to be a particular resentment toward Livi rippin the pash on pricing. It does seem as if every club (us included) seem to have bumped pricing by roughly 10% since pre-Covid. Quote

There was a news article the other day about staff shortages at Underwood Road, due to the number of staff isolating, resulting in it taking up to a week to deliver some mail and all deliveries being cancelled some days so the staff could concentrate on sorting. I'm afraid that's hard to believe. The volume of mail would be slightly more than a trickle, hardly enough to grind to a halt. Covid being used as another excuse for poor service, as many companies/organisations are doing. Quote

Where I live we are down to two or three deliveries a week due to staff shortages at Royal Mail (mostly due to Covid apprently).......we sometimes get mail a day after it was posted and sometimes over a week. I'm not saying that that's the issue but we've started picking some things up locally rather than having the delivered by post. Quote

Not sure if you're saying that there is only a trickle of mail through Underwood Road or whether the mail from SMFC would only be a trickle. The former is obviously not true and the latter is irrelevant if the sorting office is already backed up. Quote
