waldorf34
Is it ? From what I can see the charitable arm of St Mirren merely copy the initiatives of the SPL Trust ( because that is that is where the financing comes from ). With the recent budget and the reduction of £20 a week in universal credit , our vulnerable citizens (and us being in the most deprived area of Paisley) need all the help they can get. Could the club not make a home for the food bank and ask our supporters to donate not just food but clothes ,toys and cash in the coming months? Doakes
It's a great shout, club could also donate free tickets if they are feeling generous. Better than having empty seats and could make someone's weekend to have a free day out to the football
Maboza
I know the club has foodbank collections occasionally but see no reason why they couldn’t do it every game. In liverpool both sides of the red/blue divide have combined to market ‘fans supporting foodbanks’ and have big collections at Anfield/Goodison each week.
