Nice idea from Brechin & Arbroath for a friendly this Saturday........................

City's Club Advisor will go head to head with the Lichties boss and City legend at half time of our pre-season friendly against Arbroath Football Club at Glebe Park on Saturday.

Chairman Kevin Mackie commented, "We thought the penalty shootout would be a fun event at half time - I'm sure Craig and Dick will provide great entertainment.

"Both are hosting our pre-match hospitality at the Northern Hotel, so I can't thank them enough for helping to create a great day of entertainment."

The friendly at Glebe Park will kick off at 2pm this Saturday, with prices set at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Season ticket holders will gain entry free of charge.

The Platinum Lounge at Glebe Park will be open as a pay bar to both sets of supporters from 1pm.

Arbroath have increased the price of hospitality by 5%, not a big deal considering the rises in the cost of living over the last few months.
Are you going to stop being an Arbroath supporter now because of it? [emoji1787]

One of the many reasons Arbroath have done so well, the management team are brothers but a very different.

The last thing you need is a clone/yes man.

Interesting the players were given a fitness program over the summer, changed days, especially for a part time team.

St Mirren 0 - 1 Arbroath - Ian Campbell Post Match Interview
Arbroath Assistant Manager Ian Campbell spoke to the media after watching his side record a very impressive win over Premiership side St Mirren in the opening fixture of Group E in the Premier Sports Cup.
Ian was delighted with his side's performance and thought they were well organised and got better and better as the game went on. He gave an insight into how the players keep their fitness up over the summer with programs put in place by our sports scientist Kevin Milne and physiotherapist Craig Reynolds.
