Reading that Greive is the first Saints player to score an international goal in 58 years. Surprised at that stat. Thought Gunni would’ve managed it, but last scored for Iceland just before he joined us.
Great achievement for Alex, must feel a bit of a whirlwind for him. A big plus for him and the club.

Nice to see his interview saying that St Mirren are a great club to get recognition fir international career. Hopefully help with next season's signings.

Love to watch him play. Both himself and Ronan give the impression that they are enjoying the game.

Aye, when New Zealand were pumped 3-1 by Jordan, and he came on as a sub.

Good on him but the continued unwarranted praise is rather embarrassing, to say the least.

Really?

Breaks 58 year old record.

Amazing career change for young Alex since he came to the club. Now a New Zealand International with the possibility of playing at the World Cup and even more bizarrely the possibility of playing against Scotland there.

I'm sure he came to us a footballer. 🤔

Well Rascal wasn't exactly suggesting he would be playing for their national Rugby team. emoji12.png

Indeed not. Alex was playing Amateur Football before going Professional with Saints and now has the chance of appearing at a World Cup. I’d say those are career changing . (Note: not the same as changing your career)

Not quite the same. More career improving.
