I have worked in both Kiev and Dnipro a few times. People there are very single minded. The CEO of one company said that their thinking was impacted by their geography. Mainly a large almost flat area with few natural borders leading them to think and act in straight lines, going directly for what they want. He might know….he was a Billionaire, Ukrainian and kept a rifle in the corner of his office. True but signed Walter Mitty for the disbelieving. Ps. Worked in Moscow and St Petersburg a few times and their thinking wasn’t dissimilar but covered by a greater degree of surface sophistication.

Just watched a documentary on RT television.. they're rewriting history... Did you know that Poland was making plans to invade Russia in 1938...  so Stalin teamed up with Hitler and took half the country in 1939 obviously in self defense ...  oh and the UK and the American's ONLY opened a second front when they saw Russia could win the war on their own.. that is a total insult to the British seamen who lost their lives supplying the Russian war effort through the bering sea..  

Oh nearly forgot were all Nazi's..

If this is the kind of stuff they're put on our airwaves what are the putting on their own to the Russian people

With the imposition of sanctions targeted against Russia, Russian-owned businesses and oligarchs based outside of Russia, and the banning of all Russian sports teams from participating in global competitions, why haven't Chelsea already been suspended from the English premier league ?

Abramovitch has been trying to foist off (temporary) control of the club to a committee formed of his board members.

this should have ‘happened’ a few days ago, but I’m now reading that they are less than keen on being his puppets.

the FA is as corrupt as the SFA.  They won’t be rushing to do the right thing.

Chelsea aren't a Russian sports team so why should they be banned? 🙄

It would hurt English football and British football fans far more than it would hurt anyone in Russia or an individual.

The collective impact on the UK would be far bigger than the impact on Russia, so I'm not sure why this would be an expectation.

What, exactly, are the sanctions against the likes of Abramovitch? 

As already mentioned, he's done what he can, temporarly, to distance himself from Chelsea and also, as mentioned, what good would come from banning Chelsea from the english league?

Isn't it FIFA who make the decisiona on banning teams?
