Maybe. Depends on the arguments made but the right to decide has to rest with the voters in Scotland or devolution is a sham. Surely?

There is corruption and greed in all political parties and there will be in an independent Scotland too if it ever sees the light of day

I would doubt ANY political party In the UK , past or present will ever reach the levels of Corruption, greed, cronyism and downright disregard & contempt for the electorate as this current crop of lying, cheating deceitful bastards 😡

If we get an Independent Scotland , will there be corrupt individuals? You bet there will be, it’s politics after all but I’ll happily take my chances they won’t get near the current Arrogant uncaring Westminster wankers.

If another independence vote takes place in the next year or two it will be Nicola's Waterloo. It'll be like placing all her chips on red or black, if she loses then the independence movement is stuffed once and for all.

High risk.

Absolutely, but as Callum said, it's doudtful that it would be as bad as the current lot in Westminster who are more shady than FIFA.

And there lies the biggest problem with this Equal Union of Nations . Big Brother says no !!  [emoji107]

We can't go put to play cos it's past our bedtime.

But will she be Wellington or Napoleon?

As a pro-indy supporter, I think this is the WRONG time for holding a referendum.

The world's about to experience a depression. The cost of living is going to shoot up and there will be massive amounts of redundancies - after which you blame the Westminster government and THEN hold the referendum!

If we lose this one, then it will be thirty years before we get a chance again.

Scotland should be careful what it wishes for

Wants to leave a union to join a union ?

A lot of the luxuries that Scottish people enjoy will require paying for by other means

The ‘Once in a lifetime opportunity’ it was labelled as ? Or is it can Scotland keep voting until they leave?

Less than 10 years….

Why do you think we would lose "a lot of the luxuries"?

It's been proven time and again that Scotland are nett contributors to the UK purse.

If that weren't the case the tories would have dumped us years ago.

And. It was NOT labelled as a "once in a lifetime" vote. The reason some called it an opportunity is because they felt they wouldn't be "allowed" another chance. The whole situation has been turned on its head. Those who supported the status quo claimed the only way to stay in the EU was to vote NO.

How did that work out?

Well, if you are in Leeds then you wil be better-off by your reckoning, regardless it seems of how things actually turn out.

Quite cannily, Sturgeon has begun making her case by using examples from similary-sized, challenged, or blessed countires who rate hogher than the UK for fairness and prosperity.  A much more enterprising and evidence-based approach than the last time.

Anyway, name me one country that is not part of some kind of union.  Why kick around in a shit union when there is a world of opportunity for us out there
