JJ McG Posted June 17, 2022 Report Posted June 17, 2022 Bit of a coup landing him, a few teams were after him. Quote
munoz Posted June 17, 2022 Report Posted June 17, 2022 Good to see we've addressed the lack of pace in the squad. Welcome aboard. Quote
Balmullo Bud Posted June 17, 2022 Report Posted June 17, 2022 Looks absolutely rapid and some composed finishing (from YouTube clips). Exciting addition. Welcome to the Buddies Toyosi and awe the best!! Quote

This is his history so far... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyosi_Olusanya One goal in one game is impressive, so why didn't Wimbledon keep him? But at Gosport Borough, Cheshunt, Billericay Town, Middlesbrough he has not found the net in 24 games according to that... Quote

You beat me to that post 🙂 Usual over the top reaction to someone with a very very average career to date. One saving grace is that Warnock took him to Middlesbrough and Robinson seems to have watched him which is a start, Quote

If you go onto the Billericay town YouTube page , there's two games on it where he scores two goals. He looks very much like a goalscorer and does seem to have a bit of pace . Could potentially be another Junior Morias .But he may be a bit faster and with the right coaching could improve . The video clips suggest he knows where the goals are . Quote

For Middlesbrough to look at him, he MUST have shown some potential. But why did they release him, then? He played three games, if he was rubbish they wouldn't have given him a second look! Three games at Middlesbrough?! That's a testimony to his worth and talent? At the English Championship level! Quote

Callum Gilhooley Posted June 18, 2022 Report Posted June 18, 2022 As with everyone who joins Saints , I Hope he does well and wish him all the best . 👍⚽️ Quote
StanleySaint Posted June 18, 2022 Report Posted June 18, 2022 Indeed an injection of pace is always welcome even if the end result is just to put pressure on defenders more quickly and make them make mistakes! Quote
Sonny Posted June 18, 2022 Report Posted June 18, 2022 Welcome T. Hope you enjoy your time here. Quote
pondsman Posted June 19, 2022 Report Posted June 19, 2022 Seems opinion is divided on Toyosi. But we are agreed that he has pace. Since that is something we've been looking for for quite some time (pretty much all of last season), let's just give the boy a chance to show what he can do. He doesn't need to be a prolific goalscorer, just someone who will cause problems for opposing defences. His pace might be just the thing for that. Quote

TPAFKA Jersey 2 Posted July 4, 2022 Report Posted July 4, 2022 Any idea why this lad hasn’t featured in the first two games? Quote

Think they said when it happened it would keep him out for a longish period. Quote

StanleySaint Posted January 25, 2023 Report Posted January 25, 2023 Makes sense, needs game time and Robinson obviously sees something in him for next year, and if it helps Arbroath avoid relegation all the better for our east of Scotland contributor. Quote
TopCat Posted January 25, 2023 Report Posted January 25, 2023 Genuinely one of the worst players I've ever seen at St Mirren. After his sub on sub off cameo against Hearts a couple of weeks ago i suspected we would never see him play for us again. Quote
