Cowdenbeath v St Mirren League Cup 16 July 2022

We are not very creative or get nearly enough attempts on goal - that has to change...

I think Olusanya is poorer than Henderson. Offord getting 1st team game time is great but he had a poor one.

Much as I like Tait and Flynn for what they have done for us in the past - think wages could be better spent.

We always are so predictable - even teams at this level can stifle us...

We will get better, we have to!

Do you not get that it's because of that type of attitude by the team and management that keeps us in the shit season after season .

Throw 5 mil in then...no doubt that new forum tosser lookatmeralston has it in spare change

The winger Olusana is the worst player i have ever seen, he is fecking hopeless...

As a very old dick, I've seen hundreds of players in the stripes who were worse than Olusana has shown so far.  So presumably you are still school-age if you think he is the worst you've ever seen.

So you'll have another 60 years to witness worse than him. Poor you.

Ach, I wasn't there, but whilst the result was disappointing we have to bear in mind that:

1) We're still without Brophy and Main.

2) It's still essentially pre-season.

3) We kept a clean sheet.

Now stop your whinging! :)

Airdrie & Arbroath smacked 3 past Cowdenbeath, tragic we could only score 2.

How do you know that those teams "smacked" those goals past Cowdenbeath, FS ?

How hard were they smacked on a scale of 1-10 ?

Very smacked or fairly well smacked ?

Or maybe just scored, Captain Hyperbole ?

It's pre season for EVERY team.

This old tosh is rolled out when things don't go well.

As for a clean sheet.....................

Poor stuff again today. We never looked in danger of not getting the win, but we struggled to create enough clear cut chances for my liking.

For me the team doesn't have the right balance currently. I suppose we've just got to hope that the players returning from injury and Baccus will make a difference.

Tidy enough but lacked creativity.

Lacking a spark at the moment. We've no Ronan to rely on this season.

The pitch was terrible but shouldn't be used as an excuse for not ramming 5 goals past a struggling side.

On the plus side, we still have 2 games to try and get up to speed.

The pitch was hard and bumpy - the worst I have seen there in dry weather. Same for both sides. They reverted to a 5-4-1 formation or thereabouts for the second half as damage limitation but we could/should have been able to add another couple.

I agree, worst game I ever saw was a defeat to Livingston at Meadowbank Stadium. Criminal!
