W6er
Can anyone recommend any decent restaurants in Paisley? Ideally I'm looking for a Sunday roast prior to the game on Sunday. I wasn't thinking about spicy food, however if the place is really good then I'll consider it. I have been recommended Gabriels (why no apostrophe, btw?), but it seems to be pub chain food which is probably heated in a microwave. Further out try Langbank, either Cawleys or Gleddich House.

It's overpriced and very average. I have been to many Paisley restaurants, just hoping there's some wee gem I haven't heard about.

Tried to check opening times, but… according to its website…. It may still “only be doing takeaway due to covid”. somedy mair local may be better informed… https://www.thaisiampaisley.com

Doubt that you'll get many restaurants open on a Sunday at lunch time. The Lynnhurst Hotel in Johnstone, which is decent, does a Sunday roast. exiledfan
Zambretto near the station is a decent shout. Mostly Italian obviously but does house favourites such as steak pie.
rabuddies
Thai Siam still closed. The River Inn in Crosslee and the Houston Inn both do Sunday roasts.
