St Mirren v Livingston SPFL Premiership 1/10/22

Will be a much more difficult game than the Green Vermin one.

Martindale is a top class Manager and dude.

So is Robinson.

This is the sort of day when you begin to believe we will have a decent season. The game was murder to watch until we scored. I thought we were well off it and got sucked into a game dictated by Livin

Kinda but the Motherwell game where we played pretty well and certainly deserved at least a point is more annoying IMO.

FFS what a great result, tell you what Flynn, Shaughnessy and Greive, not too shabby from the bench!

Just a pity that there is an international break. I'm going 2-1 saints.

I was actually thinking the opposite. Normally I’d agree with you but I’m quite happy to bask in this victory for a couple of weeks while Scotland exact some revenge on Ukraine and RoI.

You'll definitely get the first. I doubt you'll get the second but, then again, many would have said you'd not get the opportunity of the first so, here's hoping.

Again I'll stick my neck out and say we'll be lucky to get anything from this one if we play the same side we did yesterday. Unfortunately I think we will.

A win would obviously be good but a draw would not be a disaster.

They're a good side who have taken points from teams bigger and better than us, at least on paper.

Did you get the SMISA email re:hospitality? I replied a bit late, but was wondering when the results of the 'draw' will be made and how we'll be notified, or even if mugs like me will get notified.

One down, two to go. 👍

Let's take this a bit further......

A win......Good

A draw.......no disaster

A loss...... life goes on.

That about covers all possible nothingness.  🤣🤣🤣

I expect a fiery encounter between two well drilled and fit teams. I hope to make it to my usual seat as part of my post op rehabilitation! Parking behind the west stand will make this a lot easier and the stewards were very helpful in getting me in when I had difficulty. Close match but hope for a win for Saints.

Prediction

St Mirren 2 Livingston 1

Estimated Attendance 4787

Can't always make it to home games but will be there tomorrow.

Fourth plays fifth with only goal difference between them. One victory and three draws last season. All points to a very tight game. But must favour Buddies as the home team, so 2-1 to us.

COYS!!

I hope Alex hasn't got a bout of homesickness and having second thoughts about being on the other side of the world.

He's only a bit part player, not a serious issue IMO.

True. The one we should be least worried about.
