St Mirren 1-1 Liverpool

Love St - 12/12/77

I was there and remember it well

How many buddies on here went to the game ?

A certain Kenny Dalgleish scored

I still have my programme and ticket stubs... £3 adult and £1.50 concession.

Even Shull might approve of those prices. 😂😜

I was there with a friend of my grandfather's.

I would have been 12 years old.

I seem to remember that it was absolutely pishing down and Ally Hunter made one of the best saves I've ever seen.

One of us is wrong. 😂 Any older heads confirm the correct weather conditions..

It might have been another game then.

I seem to remember the Northbank gutters overflowing it was raining that much.

The OP does mention the ball sliding under Ray Clemence in the mud.......................

Looks like there's a previous thread from 2008.

Quote from the thread.

Indeed it was. It was a rainy night & our goal squirmed underneath the body of big Ray Clemence & trickled over the line.
