St Johnstone v St Mirren, 25/2/23

You clearly don't understand the (relatively new) rules mate.
It was a red all day long and St. Johnstone obviously know there is no chance of it being overturned.
Correct. I don't think there was intent but was classed as not being in control resulting in him stamping on Ryan's ankle.

That's pretty much how it looked to me, reckless.

Still not with it, Flynn stepped into the challenge. Absolutely no malice on the other player’s part.

Ridiculous red card.

Phillips was stretching for it as he lost control of the ball.

Resulting in him standing on Flynns ankle that he could have quite easily have broke.

Flynn had just made the tackle and nicked the ball away so, as you can clearly see, there's not a chance Philips was "in control" with his challenge. Unless of course, there was intent to "do" Flynn, which I don't think was the case.

Straight leg, studs up directly onto Flynn's ankle.

I can't believe we're still debating this.

Old news. Red card awarded and St Johnstone realise an appeal would be chucked out. Regardless of the rights or wrongs, the situation has been settled and won't be revisited.

Can we move on ?

Please.
