Clydebanksaint Posted May 19, 2023 Report Share Posted May 19, 2023 (edited) Sitting watching the championship playoff and a team like Patrick Thistle have digital advertising hoardings if they can have these why haven’t we got them as it allows for many more adverts yes there maybe initially an installation cost but sure the revenue stream with loads more adverts for companies outweighs this. It was looked into but it was cost prohibitive installation and running costs were cited. But I'm like you I'd have thought more sponsorship opportunities it would pay for itself.Also I think it was about the same time when the TV in the corner was installed. I personally hate those advert systems but unfortunately it’s part of the modern marketing. Our COO Mr Lasley is on the case along with other initiatives. I think these can be hired, for one-off events. Maybe Thistle did that in order to maximise revenue as there would not have been a specific payment for televising this game.
