Really?  Why bring his wife in?

Really? What you don’t think people are influenced by those around them or their experiences.

Of course they are, same as you have been influenced by friends, family, etc.  Is your viewpoint less valid because you have had the benefit of a diverse environment and positive influences?

I don't think mass killing for any reason, be it religious, political, invasion or otherwise, is a good thing....you??

That is really swerving the question.  maybe I need to be clearer?  You mentioned Starmer's actions are designed to keep his family happy and i asked you why you brought them into the discussion.  I know  his wife is from a Jewish background, are you saying she has a high level of influence over his policy on Gaza because of this?

Nobody on this forum is in any way supportive of either the October 7th attack or the Israelli response level.  I said at the time that Hamas had given Netanyahu all the excuse he needed to rain genocide on the Palestinians to keep himself in office.

To be honest, I think you made a throwaway comment about Starmer's integrity and that is fine, i just don't think his missus signed up to all this and that is where I will leave it.

Do I think his wife and her family's background will have an influence on his decision making re the conflict in Gaza, absolutely I do......my wife's opinions and beliefs influence decision making regularly.

I agree that Hamas' actions gave Netanyahu an "added" excuse but let's be honest the conduct of Israel towards Palestine previous to October 7th was already at a level that Governments of other countries should have been asking questions, he used that excuse to curry favour with the hard-liners and to remain in office (and possibly out of jail). Starmer has allowed things to get this far and still provided arms (for profit) and now thinks Israel has gone too far, give us peace.

His missus knew exactly who she was marrying and what his intentions and ambitions were, she signed up for it......I'll leave it there.

Netanyahu must have thought it was Christmas when Hamas carried out the atrocity on that dark day in October.

To say the actions of the Israelis have been disproportionate is not even close.

Him and his supporters are carrying out genocide and the world stands by.

Hamas are cnuts, of that there's no doubt, and I'm convinced they do use buildings and areas populated by innocent people but the apparent glee of the Israelis to utterly destroy everything and everyone and stop food/medical supplies is beyond acceptable.

The almost daily news reports are sickening yet nothing of any consequence is done by the rest of the world.

Again, they do what the feck they want.

Awaiting a response from Trump.

Trump probably told them what buildings he needed demolished for his new golf course / hotel /whatever to be built.
