WTF. I concur. The AG HAS to overturn this and the lads in question have to do time for what was a disgusting, humiliating and evil wrong. That Judge appears to have a very strange moral compass.

Jail is beckoning. The judge should be reminded the victims have rights as well and he should be removed from making any decisions other than parking misdemeanors.

He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition today, Wednesday 10 June, after being attacked outside his home on Kinnaird Avenue, North Belfast, shortly after 10:30pm on Monday 8 June. June 11Jun 11 Just seen an item on BBC news that "smacking" children leads to anti social behaviour in later life. Now here in Arbroath ferel kids are running riot on a regular basis. This is in Scotland where "smacking" has bern banned for quite some time. It's a complex issue and many factors will be at the root cause of the increase in different levels of anti social behaviour but the lack of consequences will certainly be one.

Here's a thought, parents have a massive input into the access THEIR children have to the Internet. Lazy parenting is equally, if not more do, to blame on children accessing unsuitable content on the Internet

It's not really down to how tech savvy, it's more with being parent/child savvy. Top many parents use tech as a babysitter while the dangers are very real. Kids even younger than the numbers you posted above are allowed to run free on devices with no restrictions. There's many straight forward solutions ranging from so simply removing certain apps to putting controls on what kids can access and, probably more important, restricting the time they can use devices. There's lots of information for parents on, wait for it, the internet. It's too easy to say it's not easy.

July 7Jul 7 A piece on BBC news about e-bikes and e-scooters and the cost of insurance claims came out with a statement that, wait for it, 55% of adults didn't know it was illegal to use them in public places. Now it's more and more obvious that stupidity is becoming normal but I'm not buying this. Surely the 55% must be playing the game to excuse the illegal use of these vehicles?
