I would have loved to have been around and old enough to have gone to the football during these times.  It seems St. Mirren, and Paisley, truly were gripped by "Fergie Fever" and "Fergie's Furies".

It's was a magnificent era of fast exciting association football at its very best..

No diving, no cheating, no backward passes and no jessies.

And Donald gave us a wave every time.

Most of us old dudes know who they are.
