John Meiksy Posted June 24 Report Posted June 24 Faraway I understand we have got to give the boy a chance, however I also understand where Mr. Optimistic is coming from we also need established names and players with a track record. Quote

The guys got a great apprenticeship under his belt. He's young and hopefully got potential. Not sure what exactly is expected but to decry him in his terms is uncalled for. Aye, the transfer window is not closed, best to keep our slagging until the players deserve it. Edited June 24 by faraway saint Quote

Obviously he's not an "established name" but not sure when we signed many of them TBH. This is where he is....... On the signing, St Mirren manager Craig McLeish said: "Ryan was brought to my attention by Gavin [Miller]. "Gavin really liked him from watching him at Ipswich U21s and I then watched his footage from the Scotland U21s. I spoke to people that knew him, coaches, staff and players that worked with him at the U21 level. Good start by our new Head of Rec Quote

You're not very good at reading but brilliant at making stuff up. Nice to know you're an expert from your seat in the main stand. 😉 PS it's very pleasing you're pretty much the only clown coming out with this nonsense. 🤣🤣🤣 Edited June 24 by faraway saint Quote

First job is to tell Ryan he's missing Ebbsfleet's glamour friendly against Punjab United next weekend. They play in the 652nd tier of English football. He'll be gutted having to go to Arbroath instead! Oh..... and more than SEVENTY TWO THOUSAND!!!!🤪 Quote

Here's one, just one, of your classic "I know betted than anyone at the club" posts. It's seems Needham is STILL at the club and doing rather nicely thanks. 2 hours ago, Mr Optimistic said: I agree. Bud the Baker Posted June 25 Report Posted June 25 Just noticed Stuart Taylor is away to Macabbi Tel Aviv who presumably don't train in the nude. And well kent face and former child star Burton "Bobo" O'Brien joins from a F/T role with the SFA. Quote

Maybe Jamie is Goalie coach. set piece coach and goalkeepr this season. Quote
Bud the Baker Posted June 25 Report Posted June 25 I thought ST would've have made a good combination with McLeish new guy/old pro stylee. I still reckon that's the sorta appointment we'll be looking to make. Any gossip on whether we tried to keep him or not? I know we can't compete financially with Maccabi but maybe job security and, erm, just the security of not moving to a war zone might've been factors in our favour - also I don't know what the current policy is but in the old daze the Maccabees used to insist on circumcision. ✂️ Quote

faraway saint Posted Wednesday at 02:57 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 02:57 PM It seems it the usual suspects shouting the loudest when the majority are on board with the way the club are going. Brilliant. We've smashed through the 4,000 mark for season tickets sold! Thank you for your incredible support. We can't wait to welcome you back to The SMiSA Stadium. #BeOurStrength Quote
