Had to go with Easyjet from Edinburgh a few years ago as there were no flights from Newcastle back then. Was a reasonably priced fare iirc but not sure on availability these days.

To do it from Edinburgh with EasyJet  you would have to go Wed/Sat costing £200 ish That’s not bad but factor in accommodation, food and drink and you’re looking at a few bob 🤑

I am not a season ticket holder due to living in London, but would like to attend the match if possible. Is there chance that tickets will become available to non season ticket holders if all are not purchased in the ballot? We may not find out ticket allocation until after the ballot as well.

If you are referring to home tie, more than likely you'll be able to purchase online once all season ticket holders have purchased theirs.

I meant the away tie, I guess that will depend on allocation numbers

If Iceland, think no chance, if Albania, that will depend on how many season ticket holders take up allocation.

As Pod says, half a chance with Vllaznia as we should get at least 800 briefs. How are the flights to Albania from London as some from Scotland are crazy with one or two stop overs and ridiculous lengths of travel time.

Wizz have two direct flights to Tirana, one in the morning, the other in after noon from Luton Airport.

Have to agree, Iceland is expensive and not great for supporter numbers. Direct flights to Tirana airport are far and few between, then taxi or bus (mini) to Shkoder, slightly compensate for by cheap beer.   Not even guaranteed we would even get a ticket for away game.

Got my tickets for the home tie this morning - but unsure about the away tie(s) - Iceland is a logistical doddle - but cost and availability are real problems. Albania is the exact opposite - don’t fancy the planes, buses and ferries route!

Does anyone think there is a chance that the club might arrange a travel plan for the Albanian option (flights and coaches?) - or is that just wishful thinking?

I'm sure they came out with a statement that, due to the logistics and time constraint, they wouldn't be doing so, so we're on our own.
