Could be a bummer for some paying 29 fecking pounds up front for the second leg even before the first leg is played. We might lose away by many goals making the home game a non event.

Refund before second leg ?

Tickets for the home European game are now on general sale. Should hopefully sell out

I only got my seats sorted yesterday as I was waiting to be informed by email, (as is usual from the club), but got no confirmation. I actually read it, in passing, on facebook from another supporter and got online last night.

Last one looks to be sold. West and Main sold out.

ETA. I suppose they will open up part of the North Stand to home support if the Family Stand sells out too.

I doubt many Icelandic/Albanian fans will travel Put any that do in the section nearest Main stand, create a segregation gap and the rest of the stand is for Buds 🏁🏁🏁

Tens of thousands of Albanians don't need to travel. They are already in the UK.

The Away Stand may be full.

Looks like just 200 or so seats left behind the goal. Hopefully they can split the north stand between away fans and home fans with 2 sections each. Don't think either of our opponents will be needing more than 2 sections anyway.

That would be the best option ( & furthest away from any potential W7 buffoonery lol )  if they can sort access + separate toilets/refreshment area then N5 is a 350 block probably needing N4 cordoned off providing a decent buffer zone and a stairwell access for away fans
N1 N2 N3 gives another 1000 spots and a Saints support up from current total of 6300 to 7300.

Not nearly worth the money that we would be required to spend on hired in toilets, catering and extra security and not enough time to organise it all

te stadium was not designed with much flexibility in mind

I think being able to segregate the north stand is something we should be looking to implement for the future anyway. Our crowds have been increasing and hopefully that will continue.

If we get past this round there's going to be even more demand for the next home game in Europe and hopefully we'll have more European games in the coming seasons. We have sold out games domestically as well when top 6 or Europe is on the line. You only have to look at Hearts' recent growth who have had to cut away allocations to accommodate their own fans.

the only real option is to put a new structure between the North and east stands for toilets and catering that still allows safe egress in an emergency.  That might include additional seating, who knows.  I think there was a figure of up to £1000 per seat quoted at the time the current stadium was being designed and that would equate to the £8 million construction cost.  Adding a new catering and toilet facility that served the east of the north stand and the north of the east stand would be cheaper and would add the flexibility the stadium lacks.

Hearts are planning a hotel in the main stand and I think that will squeeze away ticket availability even more.  They have built an exit from the main stand that empties onto the same concourse as the away exit, so if they continue to offer away tickets there will be very few to allocate

I don't really know anything about stadium requirements but I am surprised if it really is that difficult to work out a way to segregate the North stand.  I thought just some small catering and toilet facilities with some kind of partition or separation would be sufficient. If its not at significant cost I think it would be a worthwhile undertaking.

Hearts' hotel is already successfully up and running and all away allocations (except Hibs) have already been cut to the minimum 1 section, about 600 fans.
