stlucifer
Goalkeeper. A bit of an unknown quantity but has played at international level for the England youngsters. ETA Looking into his player profile, he doesn't seem to have had a lot of game time but he now has our Jamie as a coach so he should be OK. CraigyBoy
It's a position where we have recently been very strong - Robbo certainly doing this business early with no messing around - good luck Ellery 👍👍

Exactly and if we can get top a quality keeper on loan each year rather than a lower league keeper just to have one on a longer term deal then I'd be happy with that. beyond our ken
we will see I hope that Urminsky starts to push for 1st team selection this season, my feeling was that he had a few things to work on, especially confidence, when he has had a start and with another year of development under his belt he should be getting near the first team, or maybe moving on

He's either very mediocre or unambitious. To be constantly looked over for a loan keeper sems a bit of an embarrassment. I would have thought he'd want to move on rather than constantly warming the bench.

With no reserve football now often does he even play? Difficult to improve with little or no match time.

But we used our first team Keeper with Carson then our loanee last term. Smacks of not being rated by SR. I think he could do with a loan spell with a team like Dumbarton to get game time.

From Saint Mirren's point of view. The problem with that is the club need a second keeper on the bench. It's a catch 22 situation as far as goalkeepers are concerned. We would need another keeper to take his place.

I assume you mean the Scottish championship , if so …….Really ? Like who ? Don’t you think there’s a good reason most of them are plying their trade in championship ? Maybe we have been spoiled after a really good run of keepers.
Mr Optimistic
Don't think he improved at all, infact think more and more errors crept into hos game and became unwatchable at corner kicks and free kicks into the box. Unfortunately we've replaced him with someone just as bad. The Celtic performace would have been funny if it wasn't so serious. Loan spell at Orient was a disaster and eventually replaced by a 21 year old. This from a fan..... 'He not only cost us 7 points in 3 games ( he only played in 10) but he caused havoc in our defence with his constant mishandling. Every keeper makes mistakes but in my view one of the worst keepers ive seen at orient in 75 years'... another said 'nice guy, terrible keeper' Not exactly a glowing report. Surely there must be better out there. Edited January 7 by Mr Optimistic

Surely there must be better out there. Every set of supporters has an elvis, you've quoted Orients. IF you read through the whole thread you'd have noticed the vast majority were very supportive/positive. Just shows, you can find what you like if you use selective quotes.....................here's one that reflects the majority. Richie Wellens and others have emphasised that he was a positive force within the group. He remained supportive and contributed to the environment which has enabled the squad to make progress. 'nuff said, good luck Zak in the rest of your career. PS It's only what he does for us and he wasn't that bad when he played for us previously although he did, IMO, blunder against Celtic. Time will tell. Edited January 7 by faraway saint

He was good enough to help us qualify for Europe playing 46 games for us which included 15 clean sheets I’m quite sure you’d have watched a lot of those 45 (15) games so why the need to listen to an Orient fan? I thought the first half of the season he did well but was poor in the second half and wasn't unhappy with him not returning. Time will tell and I really hope I am wrong. First impressions (at Parkhead) I'm sure you will agree were not good. That said, the goalkeeper isn't our only concern just now.
