Who's coming and going for the new season?

I don't want to start a new thread but has anybody seen speculation about contracts, frees, players returning , new signings etc. It is 10 days since end of the season

 

Normally at this time the forum is buzzing with speculation.

 

Apologies if there is a thread elsewhere.  If so, please point me to it.

Manager has brought 2 in and seems relatively  happy with what he has at present - we needed to address Keeper and Strain departing and he has done that early doors which is good . I would like to think any other additions are emphasising quality over quantity - to keep improving it's game changers we need as opposed to just " bodies " .

SR is damping down any speculation by coming out early doors and saying we are going to have a quiet summer. He did say he wanted another midfielder and a quick forward. (Hopefully one who knows where the net is).

It's a perfectly reasonable question to ask if indeed Sunderland make a move for Robinson as is rumoured in the press.

FWIW I think Sunderland is a managers graveyard and our manager will hopefully see that.
