Yeah, it is what you'd have expected before the game, doesn't paper over the huge cracks in that team though.

England 2-1 Slovakia, well, a big improvement since half time but still lacked the spark to really show they were going to get anything from the game.

The subs helped but it'll be interesting to see what the manager does in the next game.

Agree mate, no matter the euphoria they were still very poor, luckily for him Southgate will get his 100 games as manager, for me header aside, Kane has been poor, it shows how much the big players miss the foreign teammates around them.

I really felt for Slovakia but the game should have been put to bed with the long range effort at a gaping goal. I don't think engerlund would have come back from 2-0. I'm sure they will be telling us they'll win the whole thing now. We need the Swiss or, more likely Austria show them up.

The whole team have been poor, similar to Scotland, so it's not really fair picking out Kane.

As a squad they have been lacklustre, no doubt.

The team selection for the Swiss game will be interesting, surely there has to be 2 or 3 changes from the starting line up tonight?

Just watching the Spain game, what a difference, pace, ability all over the park.

Rumania 0- 3Holland, almost time up.

The Dutch don't impress me much, I'd fancy Austria or Turley to get the better of them in the quarter final.

Looking forward to this game, Austria v Turkey, as both have played some decent stuff, the Austrians in particular are a good watch.

Should be a few goals tonight.

Gakpo has been the main reason they are where they are, been the most lively sine day one. 

I don't think they have enough up front to beat many teams as the tournament goes on.

In saying that, Spain apart, there a few teams who have been average at best.

Backed them after the France game which i didn't see,  was told later they were really poor and France should have won.

Tournament has the feel of a shock winner, and the way England are playing it could be them they've been rotten, the team that's impressed me most so far is Switzerland team so I've just bought the top 🟥 not sure who they play next

Austria are 18/1, generous I thought, albeit they are currently 1-0 down.

What a start to this game, a goal after 50 odd seconds and Austria could have scored a couple since then.

9 minutes and it's been a brilliant watch so far.

The games lost a bit of the open play it had early on, wee bit of a stalemate. 

The referee has been decent, not stopping play and keeping his yellow card fairly quiet. 

Still 0-1, half time.
