Hey

I am on the whole very positive about us - and very much so about our manager

However , I was at the game and most of the comments on here have been a more than fair reflection of the game

Saying we were defensively naive and slack / lacking in creativity from the middle of the park and toothless up front doesn't make anyone a knickerwetter or troll 🤦🤦🤦

We were rotten yesterday.

Otherwise we would have beaten a team who played with a man less for 45 minutes.

This isn't trolling or knicker wetting, it's stating a fact.

Aye, no doubt yesterday was just pish poor all over the park.

I'm not into naming players as a rule so the whole team, and manager, need to have a good look at themselves.

But the level of gloom and doom for the season so far is far from true and unnecessary.

People have very short memories....  until SR arrived we were fodder.... OK so we haven't found our feet yet still 7th.... and I know there are genuine posters on here but reading this thread you would think we were Hearts.... we still bat well above our weight and still have confidence we will challenge top 6

You're wrong, there are a lot of posters with long memories who have seen this kind of start before. The recruitment has not been great this season and some players have gone backwards in terms of performance, most if I am  honest

With Kiltie coming back at some point (don't know when) we could have some better movement up front and maybe McMenamin will finally show why he was worth a transfer fee.  Hopefully the quality of performance will improve then but we need to be identifying a central defender and a goalie for the next transfer window, a left wing back would be handy as well

We were poor on Saturday but we battled away and a draw was probably about right in the end (Watkins very streetwise in nudging Ayunga so that he was off balance for the header) - I think a lot of our problems are stemming from not having a settled midfield which in turn is putting additional pressure on the defence. Killie dominated even with 10 men and we never got to grips with Armstrong and Kennedy all day.

Good to see you back, agree 100%.  This is nothing compared to dross of yesteryear

He has to have something/someone to blame for his rubbish start to the season, they are only not bottom due to hearts being even more of a basket case under Naismith.

Deflection giving the fans something to blame other than him
