Maybe need to see a few of these after the game slowed down & different angles. But this is shaping up to to be the worst officiating performance I remember in the post VAR era.

The ref decisions that cost us aside (if shown to be the case), that was an absolutely terrible second half performance. Completely spineless.

I also can’t believe, with three players booked, Robbo didn’t ring the subs when they went down to 10 men for a bit of security. Granted it was never a second yellow but I wish we hadn’t taken the chance.

Quite a few good contributions today. In my honest opinion Munchy, Mandron, Phillips and Elvis (the one on the pitch and not the sodd in here) all played very good matches. Difficult when you play against twelve men and one of them has got a whistle. Terrible refereeing.

Could feel aggrieved if we were up against a decent team today but M'well are chronically bad, it's just shows how rotten we are at the moment.

This is how I feel

people rabitting on about how far we have come and forgetting that most of the opposition is dreadful and we have only been slightly better than most of them

at the hearts game another supporter aired his view that most of this season’s intake are worse than last season  and I am starting to agree

some dickhead troll tried to point fun at the suggestion that Motherwell had improved over last season

well we found out today

What is the point of VAR? If it cannot determine that their second goal was a handball then we should cease to use it. It could not have been clearer. The sending off was also a joke though I know VAR cannot look at yellow cards. Overall we were awful today. O'Hara , apart from the penalty miss, was dreadful. Fraser is worse than a man short. The midfield  is ponderous. We are far too slow building attacks as for every forward pass there are three square or backwards pases. Van Veen looked about as fit as me  though less interested. Apart from that good day. i

referee also allowed two players to kick or punch The ball away at free kicks and one player to dive and deliberately handle the ball without punishment. The standard of refereeing is appaling. He did not seem to have a clue what was going on half of the time.

As I say apart from that everything was peachy.

Bit harsh, there are least 3 other forwards the manager has assembled who are equally as bad or worse.

Not a high bar though😜

The biggest problem is the goalie, Ellery is a fine shot-stopper and there is no question about that

He lacks either the ability or the willingness to dominate his box and can be seen looking nervous on the line as he watches events unfold instead of influencing them.  That is a situation that breeds uncertainty in the defence.

It's not entirely his fault, we simply lack the quality of central defender to play an effective back 3, Gogic is a good player as is Taylor, so why do they often look like they just met before the game?

One thing we need to do is limit Motherwell's ticket allocation after their decision to place all our fans in the upper tier, even the pundits on Radio Scotland were annoyed about it as it was an obvious attempt to kill the atmosphere for the away fans.  Gamesmanship on the field is distasteful, employing it against the fans is unforgiveable.  Who is up for a boycott of the next game there?
