Certainly a shock, not old and terribly sad to happen so far from home.

No matter what people thought of Salmond on a personal level, he was a giant a fierce adversary to all who disagreed with his doctrine in the political theatre. He really believed in the principle that we Scots should and could govern ourselves and have the resources to be a much richer and fairer society freed from the shackles of a corrupt and wasteful Westminster government who continue to strip our assets to the benefit of those down south. Unfortunately he did not live to see his dream materialize but I hope his passing spurs people of this great nation to believe once more.

Forever a true Scot.
