St Mirren v St Johnstone SPFL PREMIERSHIP 30/10/24

What a strange game. First half we were soo far off it. Second half, totally deserved the win.

Can we talk about the referee performance? Farcical, embarrassing and below professional standards doesn’t even begin to explain it. Start to finish. Winning the game and that being the stand out point is how bad it really is. Yet nothing gets done about it! Media don’t talk about it. Managers can’t talk about it. Any other profession it just wouldn’t stand!

Truly farcical decisions from all the officials including VAR . 🥴

Kiltie, Tanser & O'Hara for me tonight. Possibly only downside, the goalkeeper. how'd he not save the header?

Been a weak link for a while now I’m afraid. Cross balls into the box are a real concern.

Hopefully a kick on point tonight. Not the most rounded of performances but we got the job done.

That first 15-20 minutes in the second half shows what we are capable of though. More of that please.

First half we were awful yet still created two sitters that we missed. Headers from Elvis and Fraser. Second half we looked a different team in the first fifteen minutes. Kiltie was outstanding in the second half . That is the best I have seen him play. Olysan ya again looked  good but cannot finish. Getting to the stage where I wonder why we have referees as they refuse to make a decision. Just let  everything go and let VAR sort it out. VAR then takes a minimum of three minutes and seems to basically guess what to give. The referees refuse to give blatant fouls and let VAR fix it.

Going by stories heard tonight we maybe without Brown and Van Veen for some time due to legal problems. Hopefully only rumours.

I'd need to see a reply but I'm sure it took a big touch after the header on the way into the net.

There is a Kevin van veen in court in Hamilton today. Hopefully it's a civil case rather than a criminal one.

By the looks of it, he was in court last week in a civil matter looking like it's to do with custody of kids. Tomorrow's looks like it's a criminal matter and in a different court. No idea if related or not.

True I am afraid

KVV at Hamilton Sheriff today

Never watched any of the game but an excellent result after going a goal down early on.

Sets us up nicely for Saturday where another three points changes the whole season after a poor return on results.

Looking forward to it, first home game for ten years, strangely that was against RC which we win 5-4.

A similar result will do me. 😉
