This event takes place tonight.

Fundraising initiatives include a silent auction for 16 lots. One of these lots is a signed, framed Celtic shirt.

OK, the money raised for the sale of this item will go to a good cause, but surely selling it in the auction is an embarrassing blunder. Especially after the "Celtic Shop" fiasco.

I would suggest the money raised from this event is THE most important thing rather than some reason to have your usual moan.

There will almost certainly be plenty of people in attendance who will splash out good money for this Celtic top, hardly an embarrassing blunder.

Is there anything you can't find to whine about?

LIVE UPDATE Here we have our General Manager wearing a RANGERS TOP and someone else in the CELTIC top. Have we no respect for ourselves ? Will Rangers and Celtic be auctioning a St. Mirren top anytime soon? What message does this send to our young players and their families. Welcoming the Bigot brothers strips to our event. How about a wee sing song of the hits from both sides of 1690 after the auction. Up to our knees in ....... etc etc etc. Money is not everything. A new take on "selling the jerseys" for sure.

I would not touch either. I do not support sectarian sports clubs. I support the club in many ways including owning shares, SMISA membership, several season tickets, corporate hospitality, player sponsorship., shop income, regular contributions to 1877 club bar income. 😄😄😄

All that means feck all as your a toxic "super supporter" who, as stated above, thinks he's actually something to be proud of. 🙄

I should add for some this "football strip" thing can be an issue but the level of drama from the OP and, predictably, LPM, just reflects an attitude towards the club in a fundraising evening that's over the top.

Takes All kinds. 🙄
