faraway saint Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 Since this lot lost 3-0 to Rangers today and we beat Rangers that should mean we'll win this easy, right? Quote
stlucifer Posted January 2 Report Posted January 2 After their reported poor performance I'm sure Rodgers will have went through his players so I expect nothing from this one. Everything points to a third consecutive defeat. And by a hefty margin. Let's hope for the post post christmas miracle. Quote
DougJamie Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 Not expecting anything bar a Celtic victory.... if we keep it under 4 doing well....then it's high flying Utd.... Fakes are down 5th to 11th will be tight this season Quote

Fakes are down 5th to 11th will be tight this season We just need to concentrate on the basics’ as Robbo would have it. We also shouldn’t forget that we’re a great side when everyone singing from the same sheet. It’s almost the same position as we were last season. Celtic game could be interesting. They have a point to prove but we could make it tricky as we have done in matches past. I don’t believe in ‘free hits’, too defeatist. Quote

This "free hit" was more prevalent in years gone past when we were bottom feeders and you're right we shouldn't be seeing any game as a free hit. You only need to look at the Rangers game recently where the same term was used. I'm not fooling myself this is an easy task as Celtic, especially at home, are a tough nut to crack but it's fitba and you'll not get anything if you don't BELIEVE you can get something. Quote

stlucifer Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 I think the task has been made much harder with the result v the other ersecheek. If I was being honest I would have preferred the opposite outcome and celtic going into the game 17 points ahead and perhaps in a comfort zone but it is what it is. Keep it tight for the first twenty or so but don't stay too deep and see where it takes us. Quote

guinness Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 Fear a doing here. They have been poor in their last few games but will surely come out firing after their result the other day. We have been awful the last couple of games and do not see much to change here. Will go out of habit but fearing the worst. Quote

Qarsaan Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Yes. Probably in for another tanking. But I will still sit up to follow it on Saints TV. Quote
Tom Blacks Left Boot Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Well done to the Saints fans that go today. I haven't been to Parkhead or Ibrox for years and probably will never go again. I hope you all have a safe day and hopefully enjoy the game. Quote
BanburyBill Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 I see Hemming is in goal and Balcombe not in the squad. Is he injured or returned to Brentford Quote

BanburyBill Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 I see Ohara is playing centre back today. If we play the way we played against the other half with a high block we could get something from this today Quote

Is it not more likely to be a back 3 of Taylor, Gogic and Fraser or has O'Hara been confirmed as playing in defence? Quote
