shull Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 (edited) Hearts shouldn't be a problem. Edited January 23 by shull Quote
Rascal Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 I’d love to hope so. Home advantage might help. Can see this being a Saturday evening game with 17.30 kick off Quote
shull Posted January 21 Author Report Posted January 21 Prediction St Mirren 3 Hearts 1 Estimated Attendance 4458 Hopefully, a sensible pricing policy will be in operation. £10 admission fee would be ideal. Quote

I would love your scoreline prediction to be right and the pricing but doubt the latter. Crowd - my guess is 6,500 Quote

beyond our ken Posted January 22 Report Posted January 22 The Hearts support will sell out their allocation and as long as it is not a daft Monday night tie then we should have a good home turnout. It depends on performances from us in the run-up to the game. I'd like to think there will be some incentive to attend offered if it is played at a daft time & day but standard pricing if it is Saturday or Sunday. Preferrence would be Saturday at 15:00, then maybe 17:00 that day or 15:00 on the Sunday. A long day out for the travelling fans of both sides if it is Monday night Quote

guinness Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Tempted to give it a miss. Do the Club even get much of a payment for this? Quote
faraway saint Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Typical BBC reporting, unless the game we got humped was just a bad memory? 🙄 The Premiership fixtures between St Mirren and Hearts this season have both been won by the home side Quote
StanleySaint Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Was going to come up for this one but a Monday night is just pants, will just have to watch it on cooncil telly. Quote

I'd already put the feelers out for this one but, like you, Monday has killed that idea stone dead. Quote
beyond our ken Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Not good for the game as fans best excuse for a day at the fitba is to attend a contentious and competitive cup-tie. I've decided to go through, I'm already off on the 12th and 13th for a trip to London so I'll take the 11th off too as the journey home will be a bugger if there is extra time and penalties (hopefully no VAR as that could add 10 minutes between these two sides). At least I can have a few Heineken zeros after the game and a better drink at home (if I feel like watching the highlights 🤨). Maybe Junior will come through with me for this one as he has rarely seen us beat Hearts and we can make a night of it. Quote
beyond our ken Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Just checked, VAR only applies to the semis and final Quote
