Lose this game and we're in a battle to stay in the league, winning it puts us in a relatively safe position and we can still look upwards, if this is true ? and I think it is, This makes this game the most important of the season so far

Win, lose or draw and we'll still in a relegation battle, and I fully expect us to be till the end of the season,

There's probably about 8 teams who are as shit as each other and our current form doesn't fill me with hope..

Hibs are a good team and will easily survive, fearing the worst tbh.

Hibs were no hopers only weeks ago. Are you saying that we’ll remain rubbish and Hibs will be competing for a European place?

That’s true at present but it can turn around so easily and this current team we have is streets ahead of some of the dross witnessed, especially most of the 90’s!

Hearts were/are on a better run than Hibs and, IMO, we were unlucky not to beat them so I see the Hibs game as a game we can win IF we get at them like we did on Monday night.

I'm going for a saints win here. I know Hibs are on form, however I think we will do the job 2-1. Two goals either side of the half for us and an 80th minute from Hibs to make it squeaky.

We're 9/4, worth a wee punt although the draw  at 11/5 looks more likely to me. 😉

A win tomorrow and we're back up to 6th and equal with Hibs on points in 5th.

Has there ever been such little difference between 3rd and 12th?

Having said that, we will have to improve our performance to get 3 points tomorrow, although the effort and commitment is never in question.

I'd have some confidence if we had a decent delivery from wide areas and a playmaker in midfield, we lack both and that means we rely again on long-ball huff & puff.  Don't get me wrong, it has worked in some games and will work again in others, we just seem to engage in wars of attrition and see how the breaks fall
